MOR 101.9’s DJ Jasmin dies at 35

  • Jasmin Basar was a graduate of Communication Arts from Far Eastern University
  • She joined MOR 101.9 in 2009 and she was known for her earliest show ‘Dear Jasmin’

Jasmin Basar, better known as DJ Jasmin MOR 101.9 disk jockey who was one the host of ‘Dear MOR,’ died early on July 30, 2019 from End-Stage Chronic Kidney Disease which she had battling with for seven years.

Her death was announced on social media by the official account of her radio station.

DJ Jasmin was on the radio for over a decade. She mentored some on-air talents and was an on-air friend to some listeners of their radio show via ‘Dear MOR’ with DJ Popoy.

Fellow DJs and avid radio listeners were saddened today by her passing.

Avid radio listeners are saddened today as DJ Jasmin of MOR 101.9 has passed away after battling End Stage Chronic Kidney Disease for the past 7 years.
