  • Jinri Park aired complaints about not getting paid by some companies and clients in the showbiz industry
  • Jinri thinks that this situation must be put to a stop now
  • Ethel Booba earlier revealed that she is experiencing the same situation

Korean model and actress Jinri Park recently posted her sentiments online about not being paid on time by some companies and clients in the showbiz industry.

Through a Twitter post last September 23, Monday, Jinri revealed to netizens that some of her talent fees have not yet been paid for three to four years now.

“Not been paid for a year? I have an event coordinator that hasn’t paid me for 4years. Still counting. And big companies that haven’t paid me for 3years. Why can’t clients pay on time? yet they demand so much from talents,” she wrote.

Jinri then added that some clients lack professionalism nowadays.

“Clients demand so much professionalism from talents yet they lack so much of it themselves.”

The actress remarked that she’s been patiently waiting for three to four years now but she decided not to drop any names still.

“I really want to just reveal who these clients are. But I’m still being professional and patiently waiting. Now 3-4years of waiting. Don’t know how much longer I can wait,” Jinri followed up her tweet.

She also agreed with a netizen saying that she must seek help from media to stop the abusive treatment.

“This is true. It’s been 4years. I don’t even know if I’ll ever get paid.”

Jinri further said that this situation must be put to an end to prevent the other artists from experiencing the same struggle.

“This habit of clients delaying the payments of talents should really stop once and for all.”

Comedienne Ethel Booba also shared the same fate with the Korean actress which she revealed through a tweet last Sunday, September 22.

Ethel named Minute To Win It, where she appeared last March 2019, and Gandang Gabi Vice as the two Kapamilya shows which hadn’t paid her.

“Kaya nakakatamad na mag guest sa TV show kasi merong iba dyan mag almost 1 year na di pa ma-claim ang TF sunod meron ding more than 5 months na ata. Sa skype na lang talaga ako magshow C2C. Astig sa astig lang. Charot!” Ethel shared.

This recent issue has became a hot topic on social media and generated speculations from netizens.
