GMA Network’s Newest Gem of Drama Arra San Agustin takes her first lead role in the afternoon series Madastra which premiered in October, 7 Monday replacing Dahil sa Pag-ibig.
Arra breathes life to Audrey Segundo and is paired up with Juancho Trivino who plays Sean Ledesma in the drama series.
The star was recently seen in GMA Network’s variety show Studio 7 last September 29 while performing with Gabbi Garcia, Kyline Alcantara, Mikee Quintos, and others to promote the afternoon drama.
Among of the cast of Madastra are Thea Tolentino, Phytos Ramirez, Manilyn Reynes, and Gladys Reyes. Madrasta tells the story of Audrey who falls in love with Sean and helps him to move on after he was abandoned by Katherine (Thea) with their kids. Katherine will eventually return to Sean’s life to get his money, leading to the clash between Katherine and Audrey.
Before having her launching series, Arra was previously paired up with Ken Chan in My Special Tatay and The Cure. She was also cast in the series Meant To Be, the reboot of Encantadia, and several other shows. She joined the cast of GMA’s longest running gag show, Bubble Gang in 2016. Arra hosts Taste MNL, a GMA Online Exclusive show.
She ended her stint in the sixth season of StarStruck as one of the top 6 finalists.
