Actress and vlogger Alex Gonzaga recently made a collaboration video with broadcaster Raffy Tulfo and has another one coming up.
In a recent interview with the media, Alex shared that she was grateful that Raffy agreed to do a collab with her.
“First time, nakipag-collab ni sir Raffy kaya sobrang saya ko talaga. Buti pumayag siya,” she said.
Last Saturday, the broadcaster already showed an episode featuring Alex on his YouTube show Raffy Tulfo in Action.
The actress went to Raffy’s office as a complainant and asked for his assistance in solving her personal problems.
Alex asked the broadcaster to help her with some issues with her mom Pinty.
She told Raffy that her mom won’t allow her to date and go abroad with her boyfriend, Mikee Morada.
The younger sister of Toni Gonzaga said the strictness of her parents is too much because they are already of legal age.
Raffy then called the actress’ mother and spoke about Alex’s complaint.
Mom Pinty denied this and said that she was only protecting her daughter.
Both mom Pinty and daddy Bonoy, who also joined the conversation, said they are not against Alex’s relationship with Mikee, but it’ll be better if they get married first.
They also said that they will accept Mikee should he decide to marry Alex.
Raffy then volunteered to be the “ninong” of the couple.
He asked Alex about their wedding plans.
“Nagpaplano po ako pero parang wala pong plano yung isa,” the actress quipped and laughed.
After the episode, Alex said she had fun doing the collaboration with the broadcaster because his show focuses on real-life issues.
In her latest interview, Alex said Raffy will also make an appearance on her video blog (vlog).
She said the episode was supposed to be released on her vlog this week.
But when her team was about to edit the video, the actress said they found out that their files had been corrupted.
She said that they scheduled a re-shoot of the episode with Raffy this week.
“Nakakahiya nga kay sir Raffy kasi iistorbohin ko na naman siya,” the actress said.
Apart from Raffy, Alex said she also wanted to do a “closet-raid” or give a tour of the closet of Senator Manny Pacquiao’s wife, Jinkee Pacquiao.
“Mas gusto ko po kasi talaga maka-collab ‘yung mga taong ‘di natin nakikita parati,” she explained.
“Hindi natin nakikita ‘yung behind the camera na ginagawa nila kaya even me as a viewer, I’m interested to see,” she added.
Raffy was recently under fire for his “teacher” episode wherein he forced a teacher to resign without doing a full investigation, prompting calls for him to stop acting as if he has the power to solve issues without due process.
The actress said she was aware of the issue.
When asked to comment on the issue, Alex said: “Kasi nakita ko naman na parang nag-apologize naman siya. Parang for me, parang ako rin naman, lahat naman tayo, minsan nag-o-overboard, nagkakamali.”
“Pero the fact na nakita ko ‘yung (show) niya, nag-sorry siya, pinakita niya ‘yung sinasabi niya na pinakikinggan niya netizens… So I think, alam na ni Sir Raffy ‘yung tama,” she added.
The Raffy and Alex collab that was featured in the broadcaster’s show has garnered more than 7 million views at the time of writing.
