Donny Pangilinan is part of the upcoming Star Cinema film James and Pat and Dave along with Ronnie Alonte and Loisa Andalio.
At the media conference for the film, Donny was asked why he deleted posts about his former love team partner Kisses Delavin from his Instagram.
Without giving much details, Donny said, “I just wanted to clean it up. That’s it, no other reason naman. Gusto ko lang talaga linisin ang feed ko.”
Donny formed a tandem with Kisses called DonKiss after the former became Kisses’ escort during her 18th birthday party in 2017.
They worked together in Walwal in 2018 and was on the daytime series Playhouse.
On June 15, 2019, Kisses shocked fans of DonKiss when she wrote an open letter containing the announcement of the love team’s breakup. In reaction to this news, the actor said that he was also surprised by Kisses’s announcement. According to Donny, he believed that their team-up was still “under review” and there was “no final decision yet.”
On November 8, Kisses inked a contract with Triple A Management and APT Films and left Star Magic.
Meanwhile, Donny kept busy working on James and Pat and Dave with Ronnie and Loisa.
“Lockout kami po sa beach so sa lahat ng araw, nandoon kami. Bawal kami umuwi so nag-bonding kami. I really saw how professional both of them are. Sobrang sweet din nilang dalawa. Sinu-support nila ang isa’t isa sa mga scenes,” he narrated.
Donny and Loisa have a bunch of sweet moments in the film but he assured fans that this will cause no problem for Ronnie.
“Ka-tropa ko ito. Alam naman niya eh,” he assured.
James and Pat and Dave is the Valentine movie offering of Star Cinema. It will premiere on February 12.
