- Claudine Barretto is set to do a teleserye and a film, but the latter is still on a negotiation stage.

Claudine Barretto‘s manager Bianca Lapus confirmed that the Optimum Star is set to mark her comeback in showbiz this 2020.
“I’m one of her close friends and I’ve been co-managing her with Star Magic since last year.”
In an exclusive interview with Lapus, she told PUSH at the screening of the digitally restored Kailangan Kita which starred Barretto and Aga Muchlach.
Barretto is preparing for her comeback and part of that preparations is her diet.
“We’re just basically planning for her comeback. And now, we’re doing everything. Like right now, nagda-diet siya.” she said.
She also added that Claudine already started her diet to be physically fit for her comeback as she is so excited to work again.
“Nagpapaganda, nagpapa-sexy. Pine-prepare niya ‘yung sarili niya to make a comeback. She’s really excited to work again.” she added.
As a manager, she stressed that she has to make sure Claudine gets fully back in showbiz with Star Magic, as one of the original babies of Star Magic. As a good friend, she is also making other ways to help her back up.
“As a co-manager, siyempre dalawa kayong nagpu-push. Siyempre alam naman nating she’s one of the original babies of Star Magic talaga. It just really happened that she’s back with Star Magic. More than a co-manager, as a good friend also I’m making other ways also para makatulong sa kanyang pagbabalik.”
Bianca also said that Claudine is set to do a teleserye and a film but then, the film is still under negotiation. Now, they’re both focusing on her self-improvement especially on her appearance.
“We have an offer for a soap opera. Well, ‘yung movie nasa negotiations stage pa. But we’re just really focusing now on ‘yung ayusin talaga ni Claudine ‘yung sarili niya.”
She also revealed that Claudine had been receiving other offers, but the Optimum Star, who is still prioritizing Star Magic, which is part of ABS-CBN.
“We also have an offer from other networks. Pero siyempre, we’re prioritizing more siyempre ang kanyang pagiging tunay na Kapamilya.”
Bianca had become Claudine’s manager before various controversies involving her family.
Claudine supposed to be back earlier for the movie UnTrue but the role was given to Cristine Reyes.
Actress Cristine Reyes gave her reaction on the issue that Claudine Barretto was the first choice for her role in the movie Untrue.
“Ah siya pala talaga ‘yung original. Kasi iba ang naiisip ko. Oo nga sa kanya pala originally. How do I feel, ‘yun po ba ang tanong?”

Reyes accepted the role because it was a good project. She also thank God that the project was given to her.
“Actually nung tinanggap ko ang pelikula, tinanggap ko po siya dahil maganda talaga.”
Claudine took a long time to have her comeback due to some issues with her siblings.
