  • Aiko Melendez is appealing to people not to lie because a lie can kill.
  • Being truthful is the least that people can do to help the frontliners.

A doctor recently died because of the coronavirus he got from a patient who lied about his travel history. The sad news had pushed some celebrities to urge the public not to lie about their travel history.

To be honest and giving the correct information is a big help in protecting our health workers and our country.

Katrina Halili posted on her Instagram that people should not lie and unity is needed in this time of a pandemic.

Disclosing all the information to the health workers can save lives and frontliners can also protect themselves from contamination.

Aiko Melendez posted a video message appealing to the people to not lie because a lie can kill.

“You know, one lie can kill.

“Help save a life by not lying. Lying is not accepted.

“God bless you all. Stay safe.”

Kapuso star Mikoy Morales was asked by his home network to remind the netizens not to lie. “Don’t lie. Please. Disclose all info needed to our health workers. Pag nagsinungalin ka, maraming pwedeng mamatay – literal.”

Ria Atayde also posted on Twitter to ask people not to lie about their travel history because frontliners are getting sick because of such lies.

I’m surprised there is a need for a call for honesty but those at the frontline are getting sick & dying because some people choose to lie about their travel history. I understand that it’s scary, but if you find yourself feeling sick, pls be trurthful. It’s the least we could do pic.twitter.com/96UFkd76GP
