Carlo Aquino gave his honest opinion about some hot topics of the day.
Through his Instagram story, Aquino posted a screenshot while watching DZMM wherein Rep. LRay Villafuerte claimed there would be no corruption when it comes to the emergency funds being requested by President Rodrigo Duterte.
The actor commented: “Sana talaga totoo. Yun po ang dasal naming lahat.”
In another Instagram story, Aquino reiterated that COVID-19 test kits are made available for politicians who think highly of themselves. Aquino said that politicians are already abusing their power by asking to be prioritized for test kits, what more with the billions of pesos from the emergency funds.
Aquino said: “Test kit pa lang kurakot na. Pano pa sa pondo.”
In his last Instagram story, Aquino finds the oil price rollback during the COVID-19 crisis rather ironic since people are on quarantine and won’t be traveling much anyway.
Before Aquino reacted to the Congress deliberation, VIP testing, and gas price rollback, some of the Kapamilya celebrities enjoined the government to conduct mass testing like what was done by other countries like Japan and Korea,
Luis Manzano and KC Concepcion bluntly asked if there were a limited number of test kits or a limited budget preventing the government from initiating a mass testing project.
