Gary Valenciano celebrates 37 solid years in show business by bringing hope amid COVID-19 through a two-day online fundraising concert, “Gary V: HOPEFUL,” this Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19, at 8:30 p.m.
Gary V will be streaming live from his own home to raise funds for Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, CBN Asia’s humanitarian arm, and Shining Light Foundation. This is to support frontliners and families severely affected by the enhanced community quarantine caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The multi-awarded hitmaker has been an active partner and volunteer of Operation Blessing and CBN Asia for more than 25 years. Gary has joined several dental and medical missions, wheelchair distribution, school supplies distribution, and wells turnover for our kababayans in provinces like Pampanga, Bicol, Iloilo, and Davao. His wife, Angeli Valenciano, is a member of the OB Philippines board of trustees.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, Operation Blessing has provided much-needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs), preventive care kits, and food packs to 60 public and private hospitals, in Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Bataan, Pampanga, Palawan, Iloilo, and Davao. Aside from serving medical, military and police frontliners, Operation Blessing also reached out and extended God’s love to vulnerable individuals – patients, farmers, daily wage earners, delivery crew, local government personnel, indigenous groups, PWDs, street kids and homeless individuals who were greatly affected by the enhanced community quarantine.
