From awards and nominations of her first solo album, “My Name is Ylona Garcia”, Himig-Handog’s O Pag-ibig to being the Young Artists of the Year of 2018 Wish 107.5 Music Awards , it can be said that this Fil-Australian singer-songwriter Ylona Garcia had come a long way after PBB stint.
Eighteen year old Ylona showcased more of her talent when she staged her first concert, “Arrival: Ylona Garcia at the Music Museum in 2017.
This charming-morena had several breaks from acting, dancing, to singing and just recently, in hosting. She is one of the celebrity VJs of MYX Channel and Coke Studio Season 3 host.
Most of her stints allowed her to explore more of her talents but singing is what she wants to focus on this year.
After her four songs (Space, Maybe a Little Bit, No Turning Back and Walk In My Timbs) that she release on her Youtube channel, Ylona is proud to share the release of her newest single entitled “Lie So Well” which she composed with TheyAreTheJam (Jordan & Mike).
When asked about what inspired her and how she prepared for her single, “The essence of life and my passion to be genuine with music inspired me to sing this song. I prepared through doing some vocal exercises.”, says Ylona.
