Was she being funny or is she just plain rude?
That’s the question some viewers asked after watching guest host Ryza Cenon in “Wowowin” last Sunday, August 16, 2015.
In that episode, Cenon, together with Kris Bernal and Glaiza de Castro, had just watched the interpretive dance number of contestants Mark and Angel.
After the performance, Willie asked Mark if he has a girlfriend or maybe a boyfriend. Mark didn’t answer, prompting Cenon to laugh and ask him point-blank whether he’s gay. Mark admitted that he was.
To save the situation, Willie quickly responded, “Whatever your gender is in the eyes of people, for as long as you’re happy, it’s your right to live the life you want from the very start.”

Many believe that Cenon’s insensitive remark shows her rudeness. Could this be the reason why she remains a starlet to this day? To date, the 27-year-old actress has no blockbuster movie or top-ranking prime time series on GMA 7. She also has no boyfriend.
We doubt if Cenon will resume her hosting duties at “Wowowin” after what happened, especially since some fans were shocked by the remark she made. Let’s hope she quickly recovers from this fiasco.
