The son of John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna just turned 2 last Saturday, June 27.
On Adarna’s Instagram account, she shared with her followers a glimpse of her moments with her son by posting a series of photos of her and Elias with the caption, “2.”
She also posted short clips of Elias’ birthday party in her Instagram story.
The videos showed that no visitors were at the celebration as mass gatherings are still not allowed to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“You have such a beautiful [setup] but you don’t have visitors. Oh my God. But tuloy pa rin,” the 32-year-old former actress can be heard saying in the video.

Meanwhile, netizens took notice of John Lloyd’s absence from the birthday celebration of his two-year-old son based on the videos the Cebuana model shared.
This fired up speculations that Cruz was not invited at all, hence, his absence.
To make things clear, Adarna previously admitted that she’s in a co-parenting set-up with Cruz, following her admission that’s she’s in a long-distance relationship with a foreigner.
“He stays with me. He sleeps over his dad’s place twice a week because we co-parent,” she said as a response to a netizen who asked how often she sees her son. This came up after Cruz and Bea Alonzo had a live video call on Instagram last April 27 for an experimental movie led by director Antoinette Jadaone.
However, on Sunday, June 28, a photo of the actor and his son was posted on the actor’s IG account.

It is obvious that the photo was taken during a birthday party based on the background. However, it was not clear if the photo was taken from the party Adarna had for him.
