AltABSCBN, a famous Twitter parody account, retweeted about an ongoing issue about certain celebrities who only rose to fame by borrowing the popularity of a relative or their families.
The account used Daniel Padilla as an example.

This caught the attention of Daniel’s mother, Karla Estrada, who posted a screenshot and tweeted that before they give out a heavy statement such as that make sure that they reveal their identity first,

Most of the netizens didn’t agree with AltABSCBN’s opinion, that yes maybe they’re right that Daniel being a Padilla became a factor but no Padilla has reached the same level of fame as Daniel.

I'm not a Kathniel fan and I'm only a fan of three artists in the industry but I must say that even tho Daniel carries the surname of Padilla, it is was not the main reason why he got famous. People loves his acting and his loveteam with Kath.
