Incoming Star Magic Head Direk Laurenti Dyogi thanked veteran columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis for her Instagram post.
In a tweet, Direk Lauren thanked Lolit Solis for the kind words she wrote on her Instagram post about his appointment as head of Star Magic.

Dyogi’s tweet came after Lolit Solis’ Instagram post commending ABS-CBN and Dyogi for being a good choice to replace Johnny Manahan and Mariole Alberto as head of Star Magic.
“Pinalitan na ni Lauren Dyogi si Direk Johnny Manahan sa Star Magic, Salve. Good choice naman dahil meron din mata si Dyogi sa mga new talents tulad ni Direk Johnny,” Lolit said.

Meanwhile, after Direk Lauren’s tweet, Lolit went on Instagram again to thank Dyogi in return for appreciating her previous post.
According to her, she did not expect Lauren’s gratefulness to her simple IG post which made her admire the Kapamilya executive more.

She also added that with Dyogi’s work ethics and professionalism, he’s really a worthy replacement to Johnny Manahan to head ABS-CBN Talent Management arm, Star Magic.

Lauren Dyogi’s appointment as head of Star Magic was formally announced by ABS-CBN on Friday, September 25.
“Lauren, together with the Star Magic team, will continue to be responsible for discovering, developing, and managing talents,” the statement continued. “They will identify opportunities for our talents while ensuring that these opportunities are aligned with the talent’s equity. They are also in charge of our talents’ career pathing to ensure that everyone is given the opportunity to reach their full potential,” ABS-CBN said in a statement.
The Kapamilya network meanwhile thanked outgoing Star Magic head Mariole Alberto for her dedication to Star Magic and her contribution to discovering today’s biggest Star Magic artists.
“Over the years, Mariole has been instrumental in the discovery and development of many of the country’s top talents. The success of many of our artists are due in large measure to Mariole’s dedication to her craft. We would like to acknowledge and thank Mariole for her many contributions to ABS-CBN, Star Magic, and to the industry,” ABS-CBN added.
Dyogi will officially assume the position on January 1, 2021, concurrently with his position as Head of the Entertainment Division.
