In an interview for their single Simula, singer KZ Tandingan admitted how clingy she was to her husband, TJ Monterde.
With their recent wedding, KZ expressed her joy of marrying TJ. Then, she admitted how clingy she was towards her husband even before their wedding.
“Ang saya, ang saya. Alam mo kasi po as a person, super clingy ako. So even before we became a couple sobrang clingy ako sa kanya, like yung ang hilig kong mang-hug. Tapos syempre lalong lalo na nung naging boyfriend ko sya, sobrang clingy ako sa kanya,” said KZ.
She also added that she would even ask for five more minutes with TJ every time he drops her off at work.
“Na minsan, kunwari pag, di ba pag before pag naging mag-asawa, kunwari uuwi na sya kailangan nya ko ihatid, ako yung, wait lang five minutes pa. Grabe, sobrang clingy,” KZ added.
Now after tying the knot, she feels that it was worth it especially because KZ gets to wake up besides TJ. She can now hug him and hold his hand first thing in the morning.
“So ngayon, yung alam mong pag-gising mo sa umaga nanjan agad sya sa tabi ko, mahu-hug ko agad sya. Mahawakan ko agad yung kamay nya, ang sarap sa pakiramdam na ang tagal namin tong inantay and sobrang worth it yung pag-hihintay namin,” said KZ.
KZ and TJ officially tied the knot on August 28, 2020, but kept it a secret. Then, the couple announced their marriage after more than a month in October of 2020.
