Two days before the MMFF Final Awards’ Night, some members of the Filmfest’s Screening Committee shared their Fearless Forecast on who will be competing as Winners for the MMFF 2015 Awards Night, it will be held at the Kia Theater, Araneta Center, Cubao Quezon City, this Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 5:00pm, as reported on TV Patrol News last night, December 25, 2015.

For the Best Actor Award, it seems John Lloyd Cruz for “Honor Thy Father” & Jericho Rosales for his role in “Walang Forever” will be competing for the Best Actor Award.
In the interview made by Mario Dumawal, Echo said “I like my role here, its light drama , which I don’t get to do in my other films, it was granted so I think this is an answered prayer.”
While John Lloyd said “More than anything, its not the awards, nor the box office, I wanted to see how the audience will accept my new role.”
In the Best Actress award, the following could be competing, Janella Salvador for “Haunted Mansion”, Iza Calzado, Ai Ai Delas Alas & Jennylyn Mercado also did well in their respective roles in their movies.
Janella Salvador gathered positive reviews in her performance for the movie “Haunted Mansion”, while many raved about Iza Calzado’s award winning performance as Janella’s tormentor in the same movie.
Of all the 8 entries for this year’s MMFF only “Honor Thy Father” and “#WalangForever” received an”A” rating from the Cinema Evaluation Board, but they also noticed the great performance of Ian Veneracion and Jody Sta. Maria in the movie “All You Need is Pag-Ibig”.
For the Box Office Top Grosser “My Bebe Love” and “Beauty and the Bestie” will be competing for the Award.
Best in Cinematography and Technical excellence they perceived “Haunted Mansion” & “Nilalang” are both good.
All the celebrities just hope that the viewing public will watch and enjoy all the entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival this year.
