TELUS Digital Philippines marks 2025 as one of its most impactful years for community engagement, volunteerism, and corporate citizenship. Through its flagship volunteer program, TELUS Days of Giving (TDoG), and the work of its grant-giving foundation, the TELUS Digital Philippines Community Board, the company deepened its commitment to education, digital readiness, environmental protection, community health, and emergency responsiveness while empowering thousands of team members to “Give Where We Live”.

“Volunteerism is a defining pillar of who we are,” said Phoebelyn Carrera, Corporate Social Responsibility Senior Manager at TELUS Digital Philippines. “Our achievements this year show how compassion paired with innovation can positively reshape communities. What began as a simple act of service 18 years ago has evolved into a strategic, employee-led movement, one that strengthens classrooms, protects the environment, improves digital inclusion, and supports communities in moments of crisis.”

TELUS Digital Philippines’ rising CSR impact in 2025

Now in its 18th year, TDoG expanded its support for communities by strengthening initiatives in AI learning, digital literacy, and online safety, reinforcing the company’s longstanding commitment to improving education, environment, and health. As of November 2025, TELUS Digital Philippines has:

Mobilized over 11,000 unique volunteers across its sites in Metro Manila and Iloilo
Reached more than 29,000 children, youth, and elderly beneficiaries nationwide
Supported 12 NGOs by funding projects focused on education, health, and the environment
Received commendations from the following national government agencies and organizations:
Department of Education NCR for advancing priority initiatives in learner retention, foundational skill development, and educator capacity-building
Philippine Red Cross Western Visayas Regional Chapter for blood donation efforts in Iloilo
Yellow Boat Partner Certificate of Appreciation for shared commitment to education
National Teachers Month Coordinating Council Certificate of Appreciation for the support to the 2024 National Teachers’ Month

Throughout the year, TELUS Digital Philippines delivered initiatives such as AI learning workshops for teachers and students, , reading remediation programs, school building refurbishments, youth development activities, feeding programs, digital safety sessions, and environmental projects. In parallel with these volunteer initiatives, the company proactively responded to community needs in 2025, quickly channeling donations to both long-term programs and emergency relief efforts.

Through the combined impact of its grant-giving foundation, the TELUS Digital Philippines Community Board, company-wide emergency fundraising drives, in-kind donations and resource support to teams for different CSR programs, the organization turned over a total of ₱16.8 million in grants and donations. The majority of these contributions supported grassroots NGOs through capacity-building and project funding, while also providing urgent assistance to communities affected by the Cebu and Davao earthquakes, and the devastation caused by Typhoon Tino and Super Typhoon Uwan. Whether through long-term development programs or rapid emergency response, TELUS Digital Philippines ensured that help reached communities when it mattered most.

“The achievements of the TELUS Digital Philippines Community Board this year demonstrate the incredible impact of focused, strategic giving,” said Rajiv M. Dhand, Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific and Africa at TELUS Digital. “By supporting grassroots organizations and investing in long-term community programs, we’re extending meaningful support to thousands of Filipinos and building partnerships that drive real progress. This year’s accomplishments reinforce our commitment to creating healthier, safer, and more digitally empowered communities across the Philippines. On World Volunteer Day, we celebrate not just what we’ve achieved, but the spirit of service that makes it all possible.”

Advancing the national volunteerism agenda

Building on this momentum, TELUS Digital Philippines continues to champion volunteerism on a national scale. Earlier this year, the company served as co-convenor of the National Global Dialogue on the Future of Volunteering in the Philippines, gathering cross-sector leaders to shape the country’s contribution to the global IVY 2026 agenda.

Closing the year, TELUS Digital Philippines will host and support the national launch of the International Volunteer Year (IVY) 2026 Call to Action on December 5, 2025, in partnership with the Philippine Coalition on Volunteerism (PhilCV) and the International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE). The event, aligned with International Volunteer Day, invites organizations across sectors to endorse a shared framework that will strengthen volunteerism nationwide.

TELUS Digital Philippines remains an active member of PhilCV and IAVE, contributing to policy advocacy and global volunteerism networks.
