Kapuso rom-com First Yaya recently aired its finale. The show held the highest rating during its run. However, did the finale fare well in the ratings?
According to AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey, the series starring Sanya Lopez and Gabby Concepcion managed to leave with a bang as it pulled a 19.2% rating for its finale.
During its final week, First Yaya had consistent ratings of 17% above, with 17.8% on June 28 and 17.9% on June 30, respectively.
As for its online presence, the finale has 726,000 views on YouTube.
Looking back to its pilot episode, First Yaya had a rating of 19.6% when it aired on March 15, which coincidentally reflected a similar rating to its finale.
During its run, it reached an unprecedented rating of 22.4% on April 22. It was when Lopez showed her sexy transformation in the series.
In its finale, Yaya Melody (Lopez) and President Glenn (Concepcion) tied loose ends with the people around them before officially tying the knot in the series. Before the end credits roll, President Glenn and Yaya Melody realized that they had a serendipitous meeting even before Melody and Glenn knew each other.
On the other hand, its competitor ABS-CBN had to make the most out of its limited reach with 18 stations (A2Z Channel 11 and TV5). Far from its heyday with 52 stations nationwide.
