Actress Rica Peralejo retaliates to a critic who labeled her as ‘sarcastic’ after commenting on Kristine Hermosa’s Instagram post.
Hermosa and her husband Oyo Boy Sotto recently welcomed their fifth child.
On Instagram, Sotto’s wife posted a photo of her mother Mai Orille carrying her son Isaac with the caption, “Mommy Lola and the morning sun.”
Rica was amazed by the timeless beauty of Kristine’s mother and sent her congratulations on her fifth baby.
“Grabe si Mommy bakit sobrang ganda pa din. Congrats Hanee. Miss u! Grabe dami babies.”
However, Peralejo’s comment did not sit well with a netizen.
The netizen perceived her comment as sarcastic and said, “Makadami babies ka naman ateng! At least plinano nila, ever since talagang bet na ni @khsotto ang madaming anak! Ikaw dalawa na anak mo keri mo pa mag anak ng sampu!”

Rica then got furious with the low blow comment and slammed the basher and said that her comment is not sarcastic.
She said that she also dreamt of having a big family however, that was not realized because she experienced two miscarriages.
“OMG I KENAT pano to naging sarcastic??? Naghahanap ka ba ng makakagalitan today? Alam mo bang pangarap ko magkaroon ng naraming anak, at dalawang beses na akong nakunan kaya ko sinabing grabe daming babies ni Tin? Na ako mismo tuwang tuwa sa nangyari sa kanya and how I wish magkaroon ako ng ganyan karaming blessing na children from God but sadly hindi yata ganun ang story of my life?
She advised the netizen to be careful in commenting since she does not know where people are coming from.
“Makapanghusga tayo today, medyo wagas ah. Preno ka lang next time ka magcomment. You never know where people are coming from.”
Despite the basher’s negative comment, netizens defended Rica and believe that there is nothing wrong with the actress’s comment.
Peralejo realized that the account is a troll and so after a while, she removed her reply.
She also wanted to respect Kristine’s post.
“Out of respect to my friend’s post and feed, I have deleted my other comment as it attracts other comments and we do not wish to make this about me. ❤️ Let us just be very happy for my friend, her new baby, her blessedness when it comes to many children! 🙌🏼 This abundance is from God and should be so celebrated! ❤️❤️❤️”
Peralejo and Hermosa worked together in 2007 via ABS-CBN series Palimos ng Pag-ibig, a remake of the 1986 film of the same title.
Today, Rica quit showbiz in 2015 and is happily married to Pastor Joseph Bonifacio. They are blessed with two children, Philip and Manu.
