Comedian and host of It’s Showtime, Vice Ganda noted that he does not have trust issues especially with the people close to him.
Vice Ganda got hailed as Reader’s Digest’s Most Trusted Entertainment and Variety Presenter in the Philippines for the third time.
In the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards 2021 event, the comedian thanked his fans for their continuous trust and support.
He mentioned how important it is for him to his trust in the people close to him.
“Napakalaking bagay para sa akin ng tiwala. Ayaw na ayaw kong maka-experience ng trust issues sa mga kasama ko sa bahay, sa mga katrabaho ko, sa aking mga Kapamilya, sa aking mga kakilala at mga kaibigan.
“Kasi, di ba, kung walang trust, parang nawawala ang peace sa puso natin. Kasi alam naman natin na magkakambal ang trust at loyalty,” he said.
The 45-year-old host also shared how he values trust among his peers.
He said that it is something that should be earned that’s why he only gives it to a selected few.
“Trust is earned, and I worked very hard to earn the trust of the public. And that is something that I treasure. It’s difficult to lose the trust of other people because it’s really painful when we experience betrayal.
“As for me, I only gave my trust to a very few people. And it’s okay kahit konti lang sila kasi sure na sure naman ako that they will take care of my trust, as I am taking care of the trust that they gave me in return,” he added.
Vice Ganda recently made the headlines after he surprised his family with a brand new home.
His gift for his family is a three-story home with seven rooms and a swimming pool.
Apart from It’s Showtime, he currently hosts the singing game show Everybody Sing.
