Actor Xian Lim admitted he’s a fan of Jennylyn Mercado during the media conference for his upcoming Kapuso project, Love, Die, Repeat on August 31.
Lim said that he felt surreal working with Mercado, noting that he has seen her movies before.
“I’m really looking forward. I’m a fan of Jen. Katulad noong mga pelikula na ginawa niya before which is very surreal at nakakatuwa na nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon na to work with her, to work with her Network.”
He stars in the upcoming Kapuso series, Love, Die, Repeat, opposite Mercado.
He currently has a per-project agreement with GMA Network since he is still under the management of Viva.
Lim then shared his girlfriend, Kim Chiu’s, reaction upon landing the role.
He clarified that both he and her are supportive of each other’s careers.
“Kami po kasi ni Kim, we’re really supportive of sa mga proyekto na ginagawa po namin. Mapa pelikula po ‘yan, mapa teleserye, mapa working with other actors, and in this case, network.
“At this point, we’ve come to realize po na we grow as a couple, and at the same time po, we grow as individuals.”
He also assured their fans that the couple would always be there for each other.
“‘Yung tandem po na KimXi will always be there naman po. Sa lahat naman po ng nagtatanong, nababasa ko din naman po sa Twitter, i-address ko lang po na, parang, oh ano nang mangyayari sa tandem. It’s always going to be there. ‘Yung pagmamahal, it’s always going to be there.”
As for Chiu’s latest post, Lim reemphasized his support for his girlfriend’s decisions.
“When it comes naman po sa decision ni Kim, ang masasabi ko lang po d’yan is we’re very supportive sa kahit ano man pong decision or kahit ano pa man pong moves na gawin namin. Mapa working with other actors, or working in other projects, ‘yun nga po we’re very supportive at hindi po kami nakikialam sa isa’t isa.”
As for Love, Die, Repeat, Director Irene Villamor helms the production of the Kapuso series. Lim has had experience working with Villamor since she worked with Lim and Chiu in Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?
