Alongside jampacked Ynares Center in Pasig, Mega Manila households were also glued in the most romantic ending of “On The Wings of Love”.
According to AGB-Nielsen, Mega Manila households on Friday, February 26 were tuned in to JaDine’s “On The Wings of Love” finale beating its competitor “Because of You” of GMA Network. The OTWOL finale which showcased the much awaited wedding of Clark and Lea registered a total of 20.7%, 2.5% higher than “Because of You’s” 18.2%.
ABS-CBN also remains the leader in primetime rankings with Coco Martin’s “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” leading the pack. But daytime rankings post a different scenario as GMA Network shows dominated the top 10 getting 7 programs while ABS-CBN managed to get only 3 spots in daytime via “Be My Lady”, “It’s Showtime” and “Pasion De Amor”.
During the weekend, GMA Network again dominated top 10 Saturday and Sunday programs.
Eight of the top 10 programs in Saturday daytime block were all from GMA Network lead by the consistent number 1 “Eat Bulaga!”. It was only “It’s Showtime” and “Ipaglaban Mo” who managed to sneak in the top 10 at number 9 and number 10 respectively.
Saturday primetime was no different as GMA Network programs continue to rule ABS-CBN shows in the top 10. “Lip Sync Battle Philippines” debuts strong at number 1 beating “Pepito Manaloto” with 25.6%, 0.2% higher than Pepito’s 25.4%.
Meanwhile daytime Sunday continues to be GMA Network’s stronghold as “Sunday Pinasaya” continues to lead the top 10 followed by 7 other Kapuso programs.
While GMA Network rules the daytime block on Sunday, Kapamilya shows outnumbered Kapuso programs in the evening. Although Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho leads the top 10 Sunday primetime programs with 25.1%, ABS-CBN managed to get 6 slots in the top 10 leaving only 4 slots to Kapuso programs. ABS-CBN shows is led by “Pilipinas Got Talent” which ranked number 2 for their 21.6% ratings.
