Thirteen-year-old Lukas Janisch of Furstenfeld (Austria) won the recently-concluded “The Voice Kids Germany.”

The Filipino-Austrian received the highest percentage of public votes during the show’s finale on Firday, March 25.

Lukas Janisch took home the grand prize including a training worth 15,000 euros and a record deal. In the video, Lukas mentioned that his mom was Filipino and that he started to sing because of karaoke. Lukas’ mom hails from Palompon in Southern Leyte, site of the white sand atoll hideaway Kalanggaman Island.
