On June 8, Kapamilya actor Sam Milby recalled getting almost attacked by a horse during a photo shoot for their series.
During the media conference for A Family Affair, Milby detailed the incident their team encountered.
“Yes nasa Masbate kami and then, nagpo-photo shoot doon sa rancho. And ‘yung isang cowboy doon sa rancho, ‘yung saddle ng isang kabayo, parang naging loose, maluwag tapos pumunta doon sa ilalim ng kabayo kahit nagwawala siya. Tapos lumayo siya, tumakbo siya.
“So parang okay, because ilang hectares ‘yung lupa. Lumayo na siya, okay tuloy kami sa photo shoot. Tapos biglang habang nagpo-photo shoot, nakita namin ‘yung kabayo, tumatakbo deretso sa amin.”
Milby clarified that no one got hurt during the incident.
“It was a bit scary because he was like–wala, wala siyang paki, direderetso. Pero, at least walang nasaktan, and they were able to get the horse.”
Aside from the incident, Milby recounted his experience taping with the teleserye starrer Ivana Alawi, especially her reaction toward hiking or exercise.
“Si Ivana she’s so easy to work with. Honestly, she’s a lot of fun, ‘yun nga kulitan kami sa set, just be ready na pang-aasar na mangyayari. Don’t make her do hiking.
“Siyempre, noong first time na magkasama kaming lahat so I wanted to have– may bonding day kami, before we start the taping. So ako ang nag-organize ng hiking sa Masungi sa Tanay. Beautiful hike ’cause you know it’s nature, it’s beautiful, I thought everyone would enjoy. I was wrong.”
Milby stars in the upcoming series, A Family Affair, premiering soon on ABS-CBN platforms.
The series also includes up-and-coming Kapamilya dramatic actress Ivana Alawi and Kapuso stars Gerald Anderson, Jameson Blake, and Jake Ejercito.
