Kapamilya actress Kaye Abad is engaged to boyfriend former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Paul Jake Castillo.
Kaye Abad celebrated her 34th birthday on Tuesday (May 17) and in front of their close friends, Paul Jake formally popped the question to Kaye at a helipad atop Bellevue Hotel in Alabang.
In a video uploaded by entertainment writer Darla Sauler, Castillo was on his knees holding out the engagement ring and asking Abad for her hand in marriage.
“We started off as friends tapos naging (and then) partner in crime kita, best friend. Tapos hindi mo napigilan, ginawa mo akong (But you could not help it, you made me your) boyfriend,” Paul Jake said before Kaye in a video posted by blogger Darla Sauler. “Now I’d like to seal it – will you marry me?”
Kaye, who was in tears, nodded yes.
Abad and Castillo first admitted their relationship in April 2014.
