On August 19, Viva artists Cloe Barreto and Chloe Jenna discussed their responses to clips of their sexy scenes leaking online.
At the media conference for #DoYouThinkIamSexy with the press, including LionhearTV, Jenna said she would consider it a compliment to her work as an actress if people would take the time to work on a clip of their scenes in their movies.
“Kung galing naman po sa film na talagang kinunan at nilagay sa porn site na nangyayari na po talaga ‘yan, balewala po sa akin, kasi hindi– like lagi kong sinasabi, it’s not me, it’s my character. So, wala po akong–siguro I’ll take that as a compliment na lang na nag-take time sila mag-effort, i-download, ewan ko kasi feeling ko kapag binigyan ka ng time ng isang tao sa kahit ano mang form ‘yan, kawalan nila ‘yun, hindi ko kawalan ‘yun.”
Barreto agreed with Jenna, inferring that leaked clips of their intimate scenes are a form of positive feedback for their performance.
“Kung sa movie, go lang laban. Hati naman tayo ganon. Wala po, ibig sabihin nagalingan sila sa akin kaya inupload nila doon or dinownload nila.”
As for personal videos leaking online, Jenna said she would take responsibility and face the consequences if it happened to her.
“Kung personal ko naman po na video ang kumalat. Magiging responsible na lang po ako sa action ko. Kasi, lahat naman po ng ginagawa natin, siguro kailangan po talaga natin maging responsible, kung ano man magiging consequences noon.”
Barreto said she would cry about it at first but would face the outcome of her leaked personal videos.
“Kung sa personal naman po, siguro iiyak ko muna. Iiyak ko muna kay Nanay Len ulit, sabihin ko sa kaniya kung ano ‘yung mga pwedeng gawin, and kung anong gagawin ko. And tatanggapin ko po kung anong parusa or ano mang darating sa akin dahil lumabas ‘yung ganong videos. ‘Yun po.”
