Artists Gello Marquez and Karina Bautista highlighted what made their eyes shine as a Kapamilya at the media conference for ‘Love Bites’ with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 14, 2022.
Marquez said his career under ABS-CBN caused his eyes to ‘shine.’
“Siguro dahil masaya ako ngayon, masaya ako ngayon kaya siguro may kislap. And happy ako sa lahat ng mga nangyayari sa buhay ko and mga ginagawa ko.”
Bautista agreed with Marquez, adding that she was in a calm state.
“I believe yes, mag-aagree ako kay Gello. I believe my career is /doing/ very /good. And then I’ve been reaching my dreams, and I’ve been working really hard, and I’m in a happy state, a calm state, so I think that’s why my eyes are shining.”
Bautista then expressed her hopes that their series would touch the hearts of their Kapamilya viewers.
“Every thing I’ve been manifesting has been given, I’m with the RCD Narratives team, I’m with Direk Kevin here. I’m with Gello, and the story was great. Super thankful ako na binigyan kami ng isang material na ganito, sobrang nakakakilig and nakakarelate sa mga tao.
“So I’m manifesting lang na maraming makapanood nito, madaming makakuha ng lessons. And of course, sana ma-touch rin namin ‘yung mga puso ng mga puso ng ating mga viewers and Filipino.”
Marquez cited that they want to reach more people through their made-for-YouTube series.
“We really hope na through this Love Bites, marami pang makapanood, mas marami ma-reach na tao, and mas maraming lessons ang makuha dito. Kasi, dito sa ginagawa natin, nagshe-share tayo ng experiences ng iba’t ibang mga tao tungkol sa love, iba’t ibang klase ng love. Sana through all these experiences, sana may matutunan sila.”

The made-for-YouTube series streams on the Kapamilya YouTube channel starting September 16 and lasts up to November 2022.
