GMA Network scoring victory over ABS-CBN on SONA 2016 coverage and “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” continuing its primetime supremacy. That is the content of the latest AGB Nielsen Urban Luzon TV ratings from July 25 and 26, 2016.
GMA News has scored victory over ABS-CBN on their coverage of President Rodrigo Duterte’s first State of the Nation Address. Urban Luzon viewers chose “DU30 Unang SONA” of GMA News which gathered 19.8% to rank second over ABS-CBN’s “Pangako ng Pagbabago SONA 2016” which got 14.3% to place third in the top 10 rankings.
Over at primetime, ABS-CBN continues to rule the top 10 as “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” remains unbeaten. The Kapamilya action-drama teleserye which currrently revolves around the story of extortionist Ella played by Vice Ganda keeps on smashing Kapuso fantaserye “Encantadia”. “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” scored 26% and 25.3% on Monday and Tuesday beating “Encantadia’s” 23.8% and 23% respectively.
Meanwhile, “Eat Bulaga!” kept it’s daytime leadership with 20.2% and 19.3% ratings and newest koreanovela on GMA primetime beats “Dolce Amore”. “Descendants of the Sun” which debuted on Monday July 25 overtakes “Dolce Amore” 22% vs 20.4% same with Tueday July 26, 21.3% vs 21.0%
