Kapamilya host Bianca Gonzalez recently shared that she continues to be close friends with her former Pinoy Big Brother co-hosts Mariel Rodriguez and Toni Gonzaga.
In the March 17 episode of Push Bet Live on YouTube, Gonzales opened up about her lifelong friendship with Rodriguez and Gonzaga. According to her, even though they rarely see each other personally, they continue to communicate through group chat.
“Yes, we’re still friends. We actually have a chat group — and the chat group is still called even to this day, even if ako na lang ‘yung natira, ‘Kuya’s Angels,’” Gonzalez shared.
She also revealed that their busy schedules as mothers are the main reason why they haven’t seen each other more often.
Gonzalez revealed, “Actually it’s ironic kasi ‘yung work, kaya pa ‘yung busyness ng work. Pero nung mga naging nanay na, oh my gosh. ‘Yun na ‘yung talagang wala, ang hirap na talaga. Kasi I think, if anything, all of us, even if we work, are very hands-on with our kids.”
During the same interview, the ‘The Voice Kids’ host also recalled their special bond. The two were constant figures in her life, she acknowledged.
She said, “Ibang ibang stage of life pa kami nun. I remember the first time we met, we were all heartbroken. I remember it was a trip to Hong Kong, nag-iiyakan kasi meron kaming mga bagong… parang break lahat in some way, shape, or form. And that, like, I think truly started the bond.”
Gonzalez shared, “More relationships, eventually isa isa kaming kinasal. Isa isa kaming naging nanay.”
As the host revealed, having “women” who know you in the public eye is important to her; being connected to them keeps her grounded.
