On March 23, Kapamilya singer Jeremy Glinoga (Jeremy G) thanked the team behind ABS-CBN Music for trusting him as an artist.

At the media conference for his newest song, Bini, which LionhearTV covered, Glinoga appreciated the opportunities he received with the Kapamilya Network.

“But with the help of Star Music, with the guidance of sir Jonathan Manalo and trust from sir Roxy Liquigan, sobrang thankful ako, and napaka–it’s overwhelming too, in a good way.

“Kasi, I’d never thought that I would be able to explore this aspect of music–I thought I was going to be just a singer and sing the song that people gave me, but I’m writing the songs that I’m singing, and I’m starting to write for other artists. So nakakatuwa rin ‘yung experience na ‘yun.”

He then described his journey in music as a ‘roller coaster’ ride.

“I’d say roller coaster. Kasi, I never know where music /is going to take me. Let’s say two years ago, two years ago–if you told me two years ago na I’d be writing my own music, I /would be completing my own album, I’d be recording for various artists like BINI and BGYO, I wouldn’t believe it.”

He then discussed how he changed as a musician in six years.

“In the past six years, I’d say na–hindi naman mature, but you can tell, I feel like you guys can tell whenever you listen to my past EP like ‘Maybe Forever’ compared to–let’s say ‘Sinayang Mo’ and this song Bini, I feel like you can tell the difference–and maybe you can tell that I’ve experienced more.

“Mas hands on na ako ngayon, mas hands on na ko sa music compared dati.”

He then noted that he continuously gets surprised by the other projects ABS-CBN still has to offer him.

“It surprises me every single day kasi nga bukod sa singing, bukod sa song writing, and everything music, I’m also being blessed with shows for hosting naman, like you said, sa PIE Channel, sa Pak na Pak! Palong Follow,’every Monday through Friday. And then The Voice Kids DigiTV, and then iWant ASAP, and then performing on ASAP Stage. It’s overwhelming, and I feel humbled by the trust being given to me by ABS-CBN.”

Glinoga began his music career after joining The Voice Teens in 2017. He then released various singles, including Who Knows, Someday, and Sunflower. He also released an extended play album titled Maybe Forever.

As for his latest single, Jeremy G released the dance-pop song Bini on March 24, with a music video to follow soon. He wrote the song with ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo and Star Pop label head Rox Santos (with inspiration from his personal experiences).

Listen to his latest single, Bini, on all digital music streaming platforms.
