The group released their first three singles, and a ‘special’ track, during their debut showcase on March 31, ahead of their official debut album.

Newly-launched P-POP group, PLUUS, flexed their massive dance and vocal skills on March 31 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight in Makati. Trained under SB Talent Camp and Korean talent management company SB Town and composed of talented members Theo, JL, Gab, Haro, Justin, and Yen, the group considers getting launched as the fruit of their almost four years in training.

Called ‘PLUUS: Time is Now’, the 3-in-1 event consisted of a debut showcase, a media conference, and a fan gathering. The showcase saw the six members perform four of their first singles, three of which [surely] making their way to their upcoming debut album under Universal Records Philippines. These three singles, titled Amigo, My Time, and Cross My Heart, also had their official music videos released by Universal Records on the same day.

Explaining the origin of the group’s name, Justin (nicknamed ‘The Silent Killer’, said that PLUUS came from the words ‘plus’ and ‘us.’ The group, as he explained, intends to spread positivity through their music, which according to SB Town’s CEO, Geong Seong Han a.k.a. Tatang Robin, will be diverse. That diversity was well-reflected with the group’s first four singles, which they all performed during the showcase.

Trained for no less than four years, PLUUS seems all-geared up to set the P-POP scene ablaze with their entrance. The group promises to stick to their Filipino roots despite following the K-POP model and to showcase their heritage as they pursue success on the global stage.

You can now watch the official music videos of Amigo, My Time, and Cross My Heart as well as their live debut showcase performance of Missing You’ on SBTown’s official YouTube account.
