The Kapamilya actress revealed that the Kapuso leading man was one of her former “mini-crushes”, because of his brilliance in acting.

Andrea Brillantes says she is more cautious now, in declaring whom she would like to date next, now that her last relationship proved to be a failure. In a vlog uploaded yesterday, August 21, on her YouTube channel, the ‘Senior High’ lead star, gathered her friends, Criza Taa, Danica Ontengco, and Bea Borres, who are all single ladies like her, to play a tweaked version of the online challenge ‘Jojowain or Trotropahin’.
As the young actress promised to never commit the same mistake she did before, when she said she would never date Ricci Rivero but later on became her boyfriend, she modified the challenge into just a ‘date or pass’ challenge. In this new game, respondents need to only confirm if the guy presented would interest them in a ‘date’.
Among those guys, include the Kapuso star, Kelvin Miranda, whom Brillantes admitted, was one of her previous crushes.
“Before, nagkaroon talaga ako ng mini-crush sa kanya, kaso nagaguwapuhan talaga ako sa kanya,” she revealed, noting that it was the 24-year old Kapuso hearthrob’s brilliance in acting that drew her the most.
That said, Brillantes won’t date Miranda, because of his behavior whenever they cross paths in person.
“Ilang beses ko na siyang nakakasalubong sa party, pero dinadaan-daanan niya lang kasi ako, ” added the Kapamilya actress, sharing her reason why she would not date Miranda.
“Nila-like niya ‘yung photos ko pero dinadaanan niya lang ako in person. So parang, huh?” she went on.
Brillantes clarified that the challenge she made with her friends was in no way an indication of her intent to be in a new relationship again. It was an excuse that is arguably easy to be convinced with, given her hectic schedule as an actress.
Her newest TV series, Senior High, debuts on Primetime Bida, this Monday, August 28.
