This November, get ready to explore the exciting world of famous people on social media in the web series “Online in Love.” It will showcase how they balance being famous online and staying true to their families, friends, and themselves.
Leading the cast are Daniel Bautista and Gab Rosales, playing the roles of Thadz and Lance. The two are part of the first-ever contestants of “The Influencer Academy,” along with Aira and Hannah, portrayed by Jewel Gines and Jassy Calupitan.
Thadz, a skillful composer, is pushed by his controlling celebrity mom, Madam Pink Rose, to join the academy. Despite his cold appearance, Thadz is looking for real connections and believes he might discover them within the academy’s environment.
As for Lance, equipped with great dance moves and a cheerful outlook, he is committed to making his absent mom proud by becoming an influencer and succeeding in his own way.
Hannah, healing from a painful breakup, aims to show her ex that she’s an amazing singer. She embarks on a journey to find herself through creating content. On the other hand, Aira dreams of becoming a star and joins the academy to escape her challenging reality, hoping her on-screen persona will outshine her real-life struggles.
With their own reasons for joining the competition, will the four contestants find friendship and a sense of pride for their family while facing rigorous competition in the academy?
Meanwhile, the director of “Online In Love,” Jag Cruz, teases the media that the web series is a BL (boys love) story. It will highlight Thadz’s journey in joining the competition, forced by his mother, while also viewing it as an opportunity to showcase his capabilities through his own talent. However, during the journey inside “The Influencer Academy,” he will find someone who complements him—Lance. The question arises: how will the competition affect their budding love for each other when their initial goal was to win and not fall in love with each other? Viewers will surely look forward to the turnout of events.
