Rising Manila-based designer label .ARCHIVES continues to prove its creative prowess as it debuts its first-ever international pop-up event in Tokyo, Japan. Dubbed as “.ARCHIVES at H4LO”, the pop-up event marks another milestone in the brand’s growing international presence.

.ARCHIVES is rapidly taking hold of Tokyo’s fashion scene with back-to-back shows since its establishment in 2022. This time, they escape the heights of the runway and the confines of the digital screen to finally immerse themselves and their audience into a tangible retail experience in the streets of Harajuku. .ARCHIVES at H4LO not only underscores the brand’s talent and innovation but also stands as a source of pride for Filipinos.

.ARCHIVES Designer, Ellis Co, and brand creative director, Reika Mayani, are at the helm of this force. Bridging Tokyo to Manila by collaborating with fashion consignment store H4LO for the pop-up held at H4LO’s store in Jingumae, Shibuya last December 1 and 2.

“After our recent runway shows, we’re shifting our gears into making .ARCHIVES more accessible. We’ve been on the lookout for Japanese stores to consign the brand for a long time now. When we visited H4LO for the first time, it just felt right that we do our first pop-up here especially since they also cater and host more emerging, offbeat brands like ours,” said Ellis Co, .ARCHIVES founder and designer.

.ARCHIVES at H4LO unveiled a ready-to-wear collection that featured tees and hoodies. Standout pieces, such as the Fang Crop Blazers and Shuri Hakama Pants, were prominently displayed, capturing the essence of the brand’s futuristic approach. Guests were also treated to exclusive giveaways and discounts in-store.

“The pieces we brought were a good mix of our mainline and ready-to-wear garments plus we made an exclusive tee to celebrate our first pop-up with H4LO,” said Co.

The pop-up event culminated with an exclusive party hosted by H4LO at their Harajuku store, featuring a stellar lineup of Filipino DJ acts. Nix Damn P! of Very Done and Steelo of Mango Room Studios provided the perfect beats, creating an electrifying atmosphere throughout the night.

As .ARCHIVES makes its mark on Tokyo’s fashion scene with its first international pop-up, the brand remains committed to a larger vision — to spotlight Filipino fashion, celebrate creativity, and bridge .ARCHIVES to the future.
