On December 27, Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 Best Supporting Actress Awardee Miles Ocampo recounted her showbiz journey from a child star to getting an acting award at 27.

At the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival Gabi ng Parangal, which LionhearTV covered, Ocampo felt surreal when accepting her award.

She also admitted having apprehensions about accepting the role because of her recent surgery.

She thanked the team behind the ‘Family of Two’ and her management for supporting her.

“But thank you so much to my director, Direk Well. Miss Mel, Tito Elf, to my management, Crown Artist Management, Miss Marilen Quirambo, Ate Mac, Ate Niki, Ate Neli.

During the awards night, the MMFF 2023 Gabi ng Parangal presenter Kaladkaren encountered technical difficulties in naming the nominees for the Best Supporting Actress category. Ocampo competed with fellow nominees Agot Isidro, Alessandra de Rossi, Gloria Diaz, and Janella Salvador.
