On January 14, exes-turned-on-screen-partners Kyosu Guinto and Jaja Disuanco reacted to people calling their appearance on the noontime program ‘It’s Showtime’ scripted.

During the AsterisK Entertainment Kick-Off 2024 event at the Cities Events Place in Quezon City, which LionhearTV covered, Kyosu responded to those who doubted his and Jaja’s story.

Jaja further maintained that they use negative feedback to their from-exes-to-friends story as motivation now that they’re venturing into showbiz.

Kyosu further acknowledged that getting criticisms was ‘normal’ for aspiring artists.

When asked about their current relationship status, Jaja maintained that they remain friends after their breakup and that they’re enjoying the opportunities that come their way.

“We’re just friends po talaga, ‘yun nga po katulad ng sinabi namin before, go with the flow lang.

Kyosu and Jaja gained popularity among fans after the exes-turned-on-screen-partners expressed how much they still care for each other.

As for their new management, Kyosu and Jaja are among the 31 artists launched with AsterisK Entertainment, co-managed under various entertainment companies such as Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Net25 Star Center, Cornerstone Entertainment, and Viva Artist Agency.

These 31 artists include Jaja Disuanco, Kyosu Guinto, Ayumi Takezawa, Kurt Rivera, Dana Davids, Arwen Cruz, Steven Nacpil, Ice Reyes, Hannah Balahadia, Trajan Moreno, Keith Moreno, Erico Ricbar, Mianne Fajardo, Steel Remington, Ayana Quizon, Athalia Badere, Cass Carpina, and PPOP groups Trainee AE, A-Class, and Project Z.
