On February 7, Kapamilya star Xyriel Manabat highlighted how ABS-CBN and Star Magic continued to look out for her during her six-year hiatus from showbiz.

At a media conference at the Limbaga 77 Cafe, which LionhearTV covered, Manabat thanked ABS-CBN and Star Magic for continuing to offer her projects during her six-year break from showbiz.

She explained that she decided to take a break from showbiz to enjoy her youth.

Pero, at the same time, na-enjoy ko po ‘yun.

Manabat wanted to live out of the limelight in 2017, which prompted her to take a break from accepting showbiz projects.

“‘Yung parang normal po na buhay, gusto ko po ng regular life and ayaw ko po na super-duper happy nga ako sa work, sa career, tapos mayroon akong na-miss or one day ilo-look back ko, ‘Sayang, sana pala ganito.’ Ayaw ko ng regrets.”

Manabat returned to doing teleseryes with her role in the Kapamilya primetime series Dirty Linen.

She also noted how much she wanted to balance her career and personal life.

As for her latest ABS-CBN project, Manabat starred in the Kapamilya series Senior High with Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, Juan Karlos, Zaijian Jaranilla, Miggy Jimenez, and many more.
