COS Celebrates New York Fashion Week Show at the Odeon

On Tuesday night, COS hosted an intimate gathering of industry insiders and its creative community to celebrate the brands Autumn Winter 2024 New York Fashion Week show. The dinner, held at iconic restaurant The Odeon in Tribeca, celebrated COS’s latest collection and third consecutive year at NYFW.

From the wood panelling and the classic, brasserie-styled red banquettes to the bar that spans the northern wall of the restaurant, every design detail of The Odeon transported guests to an earlier New York. Soft lighting, modern floral arrangements, and bespoke table settings complemented the evening, while guests enjoyed brasserie style food and sipped French 75, Cosmopolitan and Martini cocktails.

Among the notable attendees were rising stars and fashion icons including Coleman Domingo, Issa Rae, Mette Towley, Lennon Gallagher, Aidan Bissett, Mika Hashizume, Pruk Panich, and Youngdae Kim—all dressed in COS, many showcasing standout pieces from the brand’s runway show. COS Design Director Karin Gustafsson was also in attendance.

Unveiled earlier in the day at the Brooklyn Navy Yards, the COS Autumn Winter 2024 runway collection drew inspiration from the elegance of ballet and the fluidity of movement, exploring sculptural elements in each silhouette.

Natures influence was evident in the collection’s tactile surfaces – earthy hues dominated, enhanced by rich textures and fabrications, with vibrant green accents adding a fresh contrast.

Heritage fabrics and traditional designs were reimagined through modernist cuts, hardware embellishments and innovative layering techniques. Standout pieces included relaxed tailoring, barrel-leg trousers, draped shirts, and textured oversized coats.
