In the interview, Julia Montes spoke warmly about Coco’s role in her life, describing him as a guiding light who has helped her navigate challenges with ease.
“Ang dami kong natutunan sa buhay, well-guided ako,” she said, expressing gratitude for Coco’s wisdom and support.
She explained that Coco’s life experiences have allowed her to avoid unnecessary struggles.
“Hindi na ako nahihirapan harapin lahat ng magiging struggles or parang humps sa buhay kasi nga meron nang nagga-guide sakin. Kasi ang dami na niyang pinagdaanan. Parang na-i-impart na niya ‘yung learnings niya na ‘wag ko na pagdaanan. So ang sarap ng ganun,” Julia added.
Coco described their partnership as one based on mutual understanding and support.
“Ako ‘yung naging tatay, kuya, kaibigan, bestfriend niya. Ang kinaganda kasi kay Juls sa pinagsamahan namin, nakikinig siya sakin. And then ako rin naman sa kanya pag siya nag-a-advice sa akin kung ano ang nakikita niya,” Coco shared.

“‘Yung kinaganda sa aming dalawa, walang kompetisyon. Talagang kung ano ‘yung matutulong namin sa isa’t-isa, ano ang ma-advice namin,” he emphasized.

“Sa buhay, kailangan ang hinahanap mo ay partner sa lahat ng ginagawa, which is doon ako masaya at kung meron akong pupuntahan na hindi ako maligaya kapag hindi kami magkasama, para bang may nami-miss ako na gawin na sana kasama ko si Julia, sana kung nandito ako, sana magkasama kami, sana nakikita niya rin ‘to which is hindi madali,” he confessed.
Coco shared that they’ve started to carve out more quality time together, taking trips out of town and traveling abroad to create lasting memories.
“Pero ngayon sabi ko nga, dahan-dahan nagagawa na namin ‘yun kapag nag-out of the country kami or minsan nag-out of town. Masaya kasi ‘yung mga pangarap namin sa buhay dahan-dahan, paunti-unti nakamit namin na magkasama kami nagtutulungan,” he said.
Adding to the excitement, Coco recently referred to Julia as “nanay” during the grand premiere of ‘Topakk’, one of the official entries in the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival.
