The two reality stars stepped out of “Bahay ni Kuya” and straight into the real world with Grab’s Iba Ang Summer experience — an on-ground activation that brought the season’s best-kept secrets to life at Glorietta Activity Center 2.
Designed for seekers of kakaibang experience, the event reimagined local adventure and food discovery through the lens of spontaneity and hidden culinary gems available on the leading superapp.
Josh and Ashley, who spent weeks in isolation inside the iconic house with other celebrity housemates, are diving headfirst into all things summer through a KAKAIBANG TASK composed of Grab-powered activities in the activation area, which will be available to the public until June 01.
The duo tried their hands at pottery-painting, tackled quirky mini golf challenges, and even a match-up game — activities inspired by actual stops on the GrabCar Travel Guide, the app’s list of under-the-radar activities around the country.
“I’m so happy to know na meron ng GrabCar Travel Guide kasi ako, I’m a bit of a daredevil,” Josh quipped. “I’m a bit of an adventure guy kaya mahilig talaga ako sa mga adventures.”
The pair didn’t just explore new experiences — they also uncovered less-known gastronomic faves, chowing down on dishes from The Kind Cookie, Mylene’s Ensaymada, and Sushi Nori, all handpicked from GrabFood 5-Star Eats, a curated collection of top-rated community-based restos beloved for their service quality and iconic offerings.
“Now with the 5 Star Eats, alam mo yung feeling mo na sometimes you don’t know what to eat, I think with that feature makikita mo yung mga top rated restaurants, it’s already there and you have a lot of options. I think it will be easier for me and especially sa mga midnight cravings ko,” Ashley added.
