Rising star Shuvee Etrata is turning her newfound success into long-term security, making smart financial moves after her ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ journey.
Fresh from signing a string of endorsements—including her recent launch as the first celebrity ambassador of Vivienne Vanity Lounge on August 18—the Kapuso actress revealed that her earnings are being funneled directly into real estate.
“I’m actually starting it na po. A house for my siblings in Cebu… and a house for my family in Mindanao,” she shared during the contract signing held at Shangri-La at the Fort. “That’s a prio po talaga so yun yung pinakaunang… pinakaunang brand, pinakaunang endorsement na magbabayad, dun agad siya mapupunta.”
The Cebu home will serve her siblings currently studying there, while another house in Polomolok, South Cotabato will be for her parents and the rest of her family.
When asked if this means doubling her workload, Shuvee laughed: “Triple, quadruple! Lahat na po—para kasi marami, kasi walo kaya sila.”
Aside from houses, the 25-year-old also revealed her preference for investing in land over splurging on luxury items.
“Lupa talaga!” she said when asked how she rewards herself. “Parang yun yung ano ko… yun yung hindi ako nasasayahan magbili ng mga heels-heels. Kasi tag-1,500 na heels okay naman sa akin, pati 800 na heels. Basta magamit lang. Ngayon talaga, medyo mabigat sa akin pag bumibili ng PHP50K or more than na [damit]. Ang sakin na lang, ibibilhin ko iyan ng lupa. Mura lang lupa so mas lupa po ako ngayon and mas more on saving.”
Through her investments, Shuvee said she hopes not only to secure her family’s future but also to express her gratitude to the people who have supported her long before the spotlight.
