Actress and singer KC Concepcion has opened up about being ready to settle down and start a family — if the right man comes along.

In her recent guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ on Tuesday, October 29, the 40-year-old “Mega Daughter” said she’s now emotionally and spiritually prepared for marriage, trusting that love will arrive “in God’s perfect time.”
“Preferably someone na nakilala ko na. Someone na maalaga and provider, and nararamdaman ko na lalaking-lalaki siya, and babaeng-babae ako,” KC said when asked what kind of man she hopes to marry.
While she hinted that someone might already be making her happy, KC said she’s keeping things private for now — following her mother Sharon Cuneta’s advice: “When in doubt, don’t.”
“Kapag mayroon na pong sure, ikukuwento ko po ‘yon. Hindi ko po matatago ‘yon. I think he is just there. I think the love that I will end up with — that I will marry — is just waiting there,” she said.
KC also revealed that she has a sweet habit of recording short video messages for her future husband.
“Gumagawa po ako ng video sa phone ko — ‘Hi husband, how are you today? Anuman ang pinagdadaanan mo today, just know that I’m praying for you.’ Gumagawa ako ng videos na one day bibigay ko sa kanya kung sino man siya,” she shared with a laugh.
Aside from wanting a strong, dependable, and affectionate partner, KC said she hopes her future husband will also appreciate music and the performing arts — given her family’s deep roots in entertainment.
“Kasi po sa family reunion namin, what if manonood kami ng concert ng mommy ko or may show ako? Paano kung hindi siya makaupo doon ng two hours at inaapoy ang puwet niya? Hindi puwede. Kailangan ma-appreciate niya ‘yung artistry,” KC joked.
During the ‘Fast Talk’ segment, the actress gamely answered Boy Abunda’s rapid-fire questions — revealing fun tidbits about herself:
Turn on: “Malambing.”
Turn off: “Narcissist.”
Mas masakit: “Losing trust.”
Mas masarap: “Ma-in love.”
Ready na bang mag-asawa? “Yes na yes with Mr. Right and with Mr. The One.”
Now embracing her 40s with clarity and confidence, KC said she’s learned to balance hope and patience. Her new motto?
“Ganun pa rin — Always, Kristina. Kung may Simply KC dati, ngayon Always Kristina.”
