One of the country’s top Direct-to-Home (DTH) satellite television service providers has just released a full arsenal of TV shows able to cater not only to locals but also to Filipinos around the globe.
Packed with an approximate millions of subscribers, cable television Cignal TV created and released its very own entertainment arm with a diverse set list of new television shows.
Born Beautiful
Internationally acclaimed film, ‘Die Beautiful’, is now back as a TV spin-off ‘Born Beautiful,’ a 12-part series which follows the original plot of ‘Die Beautiful’ in the eyes of Barbs, Trisha’s (Paolo Ballesteros) BFF in the movie.
This series is also Cignal Entertainment’s flagship program as they are optimistic about ‘Born Beautiful’ to reap huge numbers of viewers specially the millennials.
‘Born Beautiful’ is set to air in July 22 at 10:30 PM.
Tukhang
Apart from ‘Born Beautiful,’ included in the July 22 nationwide premiere is ‘Tukhang,’ a 4-part original crime drama series whose plot focuses on the war on drugs mixed with sub-plots between characters as the series progresses.
Directed by Lawrence Fajardo, ‘Tukhang’ features James Blanco, Karel Marquez, Yul Servo, Zandra Summer, Mon Confiado and many others.
It will be aired on Colours, Sari Sari, and BloombergTV Philippines on Cignal.
Good Vibes and many more
For now, only two of Cignal Entertainment’s shows will be released in July with a back-to-back premiere. However, they intend to produce more major shows in their newly-minted TV sector with ‘Tabi Po,’ ‘The Orbiters,’ ‘Sleepless: The Series.’ ‘Feels Like Forever,’ and ‘Advocasine 1 &2.’
Paolo Bediones will also star in his own show showcasing new OPM music and artists titled ‘Good Vibes.’
Cignal initially partnered with Sari-sari network, Unitel, Ideafirst, Masque Valley Productions and the Fox Network Group Philippines to further its goal in providing ‘superior’ entertainment.
