Actress Claudine Barretto sparked alarm on social media after claiming that her three children were allegedly taken without her consent, prompting her to seek assistance from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Barretto went live on Facebook late Thursday night, visibly distressed, as she accused her former personal assistant, whom she identified as Maria Solita or Marisol Acap, of kidnapping her children. She issued a public ultimatum, saying legal action would follow if the children were not returned immediately.
“Good evening sa inyong lahat, this is Claudine Barretto. If in 15 minutes my children are not here, I am going after Marisol or Maria Solita Acap for kidnapping my children. In 15 minutes if she’s not here,” the actress said during the livestream.
Barretto claimed that authorities were already involved and that the alleged suspect had been traced.
“This is not a joke. This is very serious. Marisol, ibalik mo ang mga anak ko dito. Kanina ka pa dapat nasa Katipunan. Inaantay ka na ng NBI dito,” she added.
The actress also called out individuals she identified as members of “Team Baliwag,” urging them to cooperate with authorities.
“At sa lahat ng Team Baliwag whose loyalty is supposed to be mine, please come clean,” she said, while showing documents during the broadcast.
Barretto further alleged that her name had been maligned and that her children were being used to extort money from her supporters.
“Slandering my name, destroying me using my children, extorting money from my fans… I am so disappointed with you,” she said.
At one point in the video, Barretto warned that failure to return her children would constitute kidnapping, reiterating that the NBI was already waiting.
“Now 14 minutes wala ka pa. That is already kidnapping. Bring my children now,” she said.
The actress also made emotional statements directed at an unnamed individual, whom she accused of repeatedly trying to harm her.
“And you, you know who you are. Hindi ka talaga titigil hangga’t hindi mo ako mabaliw o mapatay. Nanay ako ng mga anak mo,” Barretto said.
She further warned that if anything were to happen to her, particularly during an upcoming festival in General Santos City, “alam n’yo na po, dalawang tao lang ang gumagalaw.”
In subsequent Instagram posts, Barretto continued to issue warnings and shared documents, including a promissory note allegedly showing a P5 million debt owed to her by Maria Solita Acap. She also reposted what appeared to be a message attributed to one of her children appealing for the alleged suspect to surrender to authorities.
“You do anything bad to ANY OF MY CHILDREN, magtago ka na! I AM A MOTHER!!” Barretto wrote in one of her captions.
The three children mentioned—Sabina, Quia, and Noah—are Barretto’s adopted children with her former husband, actor Raymart Santiago.
As of this writing, no official statement has been released by the individuals named by Barretto, nor has the NBI issued a public confirmation regarding the incident. LionhearTV remains open to publishing any response or clarification from those involved.
