Ellen Adarna stirred fresh online buzz after revealing a surprising detail involving her former partner, John Lloyd Cruz.
Through an Instagram Stories Q&A, a netizen pointed out that Cruz remains close to Ellen’s brothers.
“JL is friends with your brothers noh? They were greeting each other last Father’s Day,” the netizen wrote.
Ellen responded with a pointed anecdote about an unnamed individual, widely speculated by followers to be her estranged husband, Derek Ramsay.
“Meanwhile, yung isa, hinamon pa ng suntukan yung isang kapatid ko who’s like half his age,” she shared.
When another follower referenced one of Cruz’s iconic movie lines, Ellen played along before dropping what she described as a “fun fact.”
“Ay walang sinabi dai… ahahahaha.”
“Fun fact – hinamon din niya ng away si JL in real life,” she added, with the hashtag “#truth.”
Following a wave of direct messages from followers, Ellen clarified that no physical altercation took place.
“Hahaha daming nag message. basta ang importante ang ending – ang ending ay.. hindi siya pinatulan, walang suntukan kasi puro siya parang chihuahua & na hypnotize ata si JL sa dami niyang sinabi, naguluhan at nalito
Despite the pointed remarks, Ellen had nothing but praise for Cruz, particularly in their co-parenting setup for their son, Elias.
“In fairness talaga kay JL, wala akong masabi. Hindi na kailangan pagsabihan. And huwag n’yo na itong gawing chismis ha kasi JL and I are better off as co-parents, as in super okay kami sa co-parenting namin. Chika lang,” she explained.
She also shared how Cruz offered support after she moved houses with their child.
“So when he found out that we moved houses, si Elias, anak niya, kasama. You know what, he offered like, ‘Len, kung ano man kailangan niyo, just let me know. Baka makatulong kami.’ Di ba? Nagkusa. So there. Iba talaga ang taong ganyan, ‘yung may kusa.”
Ellen and Cruz separated in 2019. They share a son, Elias, born in 2018.
Meanwhile, Ellen and Ramsay previously made headlines in 2025 following breakup rumors and subsequent public revelations about their relationship.
As of writing, Ramsay has yet to respond to Ellen’s latest claims.
