Actor and Tarlac provincial board member Arron Villaflor has broken his silence on the alleged viral video scandal linking him and three other actors — Ron Angeles, Nikko Natividad, and Gil Cuerva — to separate explicit clips circulating on social media.

While Nikko and Gil have yet to issue formal statements and Ron has only posted a cryptic “Relax lang kayo dyan” message online, Arron directly addressed the issue during a recent press conference for his upcoming film Pater Noster.
Arron dismissed the alleged video as part of a smear campaign.
“Ginamit pa yung ‘Arron, meron ka raw scandal.’ Sabi ko, ‘Go! Ipakita ninyo sa akin.’ E, lahat ng ipinapakita nila, from my Vivamax projects. Ay naku, napakadami po [ng smear campaign],” he said.
He added that negative publicity carries heavier consequences in politics compared to show business.
“It’s part of the political industry, so depende sa iyo on how you’re gonna react. In showbiz, somehow, good or bad publicity is still publicity, but when it comes to politics, if it’s bad, it’s really, really bad.”
Arron currently serves as a provincial board member in the 2nd District of Tarlac.
Online discussions have intensified, with some netizens claiming to have seen the alleged videos and even comparing the actors involved. However, there is no verified confirmation that the individuals in the clips are indeed Arron, Ron, Nikko, or Gil.
Observers have also raised the possibility of manipulated edits, lookalikes, or AI-generated content — an increasingly common issue in digital misinformation cases.
Despite the controversy, Arron continues promoting Pater Noster, an action-drama directed by Mouraz Kotrob under LGK Films and distributed by Viva Films, set to premiere in cinemas on March 25.
In the film, Arron plays Peter, a man who survives an assassination attempt but undergoes personality changes after a blood transfusion. Veteran actor Archi Adamos portrays his father, Deo, who struggles to understand his son’s transformation. The cast also includes stunt performer Kayley Carrigan.
Arron also shared that he plans to avoid accepting sexy roles moving forward, as he prioritizes maintaining a responsible public image as both an actor and a public servant.
