Rising OPM artist VOLTER has officially signed a record deal with KDR Music House, marking a significant milestone in his evolving music journey.
Hailing from Makati City, VOLTER steps into the spotlight as a solo artist after years of honing his craft as a member of The Ryan Cayabyab Singers. With over a decade of performance experience since 2010, he now embraces a more personal and introspective direction in his music.
Describing himself as a “reflective and grounded artist,” VOLTER shares that his creative process is rooted in authenticity. “I don’t create music to impress — I create to express real moments,” he says. His sound blends lo-fi, Pinoy pop, and subtle blues influences, resulting in a chill, groove-driven style that carries emotional depth. Through his songs, he aims to offer listeners a quiet space for reflection—touching on themes of acceptance, letting go, and finding peace without pressure.
Before pursuing original music, VOLTER joined several singing competitions, including Pinoy Pop Superstar, Pinoy Idol, and Are You The Next Big Star. These experiences, along with his long-standing tenure with The Ryan Cayabyab Singers, helped shape his musicality and discipline.
Now stepping out on his own, VOLTER has begun introducing original tracks such as “Ganito Lang,” alongside unreleased material that reflects his personal journey and artistic growth. His decision to pursue music more seriously came from a shift in mindset—choosing to create without seeking validation and instead focusing on honest expression.
Signing with KDR Music House, he sees this as the perfect opportunity to expand his reach while staying true to his identity. “It feels like the right step forward,” he shares. “I see it as a chance to grow, collaborate, and bring my music to a wider audience.”
Looking ahead, VOLTER envisions building a strong body of work and cultivating a deeper connection with listeners. More than anything, he hopes his music serves as a reminder that life doesn’t always have to be rushed or compared. “Sometimes, what you have right now is already enough—and that’s okay,” he says.
With a clear vision and a grounded sense of purpose, VOLTER is set to make his mark in the OPM scene—one honest song at a time.
