Actor Ronnie Alonte has addressed the controversy surrounding the timing of his wedding and proposal to actress Loisa Andalio, clarifying that their marriage had long been planned despite public speculation.

The issue gained traction after their wedding and proposal surfaced online, followed by reports about Andalio’s pregnancy—leading to assumptions that the couple rushed into marriage because of it.
According to Alonte, their wedding was already set even before the pregnancy became public.
“Biglaan ‘yung proposal na ‘yun… Sabi ko, parang may kulang, eh.”
He admitted that the proposal was not part of their original plan and was decided shortly before the wedding.
Alonte explained that he felt it was important to formally propose as a sign of respect to Andalio.
He also clarified that their pregnancy was unplanned.
Upon learning that Andalio was already four months pregnant, the couple decided to move forward with their plans.
Alonte also revealed that he was shocked when photos and videos from their private wedding and proposal circulated online without their consent. He emphasized that they had strict agreements in place with those involved in the event.
Because of the breach, the couple has taken legal action.
Despite the controversy, Alonte shared that their lives have significantly changed since welcoming their daughter, Runi Lior.
He said they are currently focused on being hands-on parents.
The couple tied the knot in November 2025 in an intimate garden ceremony, and recently welcomed their first child in March.
In the same interview, Alonte also clarified that he has no intention of entering politics, despite coming from a family with ties to a political clan in Laguna.
