A growing trend among singer-artists sharing emotional “crying videos” on social media has once again taken the spotlight—this time with Wilbert Ross going viral after breaking down following the rapid sellout of his upcoming concert.

The singer-comedian posted a tearful video expressing gratitude after tickets for his show, ‘WRTen by Wilbert Ross,’ sold out almost instantly. Not only did the first night fill up, but a second night was also added—and sold out within just an hour.
The two-night concert, marking his 10th anniversary in showbiz, is scheduled for July 25 and 26 at the New Frontier Theater.
In his video, Ross thanked fans who supported and believed in him, while openly sharing the emotional toll leading up to the concert announcement.
He revealed that he had been dealing with anxiety in the days prior, worrying about whether the venue would sell out and whether he would be able to properly entertain the audience.
According to Ross, part of his anxiety stemmed from concern for the producer who invested in the show, as he wanted to ensure that the effort and expenses would be worth it.
He also admitted fearing that the concert could make or break his singing career, thinking it might be the last opportunity if it failed.
The overwhelming response, however, brought him to tears—this time out of relief and gratitude—as fans showed strong support for his milestone event.
Ross also promised that he would not disappoint, assuring supporters that he would give his all for the performance.
His emotional moment follows a similar viral reaction from Yeng Constantino, who also turned emotional after her concert sold out in just six hours, months ahead of its scheduled date.
With demand exceeding expectations, fans are already calling for additional shows, further proving Ross’ growing influence as both a singer and performer.
