Star Magic All-Star Basketball Most Valuable Player (MVP) Gerald Anderson told the press yesterday during his AWOL blog conference that it was the sport which made him support the possible match between Daniel Padilla and Paul Salas.
“Sorry natuwa ako kasi it’s about sports e. That’s why everybody’s affected by it, kasi nga may pride and joy, so, why not?” the 28-year-old actor explained to Pep.ph.
Although he felt enthusiastic about this, he reminded the two Kapamilya stars that it shouldn’t get personal, that a game is just a game.
“But you know, knowing us, we take everything personal, ganun talaga. It just shows na hindi showbiz ang mga taong nanonood sa loob,” he elaborated.
The AWOL actor also hoped that no matter what happens in the court, the scene will just be similar to JC De Vera-Daniel Padilla’s case who immediately apologized to each other after the game, so everything was settled.
But according to Gerald, it just shows how passionate people are. “Part siya ng game, drama.”
Gerald was also asked who will he be supporting in the said match, he answered, “problema nila yan, kanila yan.”
It will be recalled in the recently concluded all-star basketball game, Gerald scored 42 points and was awarded MVP after his Team Blue won with 93-92 defeating Team Red of Daniel.
